Last week I popped into my local Game to inquire about when I would be able to pick up Super Smash Brothers: Brawl and to see if I could also pre-order it. There was a woman working behind the counter and I asked her when Super Smash Brothers Brawl would be released, to which she responded:
"Super Smash Brothers will be coming out in February, but later on this month you will be able to play the demo off the Wii marketplace.." - She then added about more details of the game.
I pre-ordered the game and left the store, but did the woman behind the counter let something out I shouldn't have known? You can't currently downoad demos off of the Wii marketplace but I think this would do all Wii owners some great joy.
I hastily contacted Nintendo inquiring about downloadable demos, to which they replied:
"At Nintendo, we are constantly improving our facilities for the Nintendo Wii user. We thankyou for your interest in the matter."
If this demo was to be released, what would it be like? And how would it be stored? Would it have to be downloaded straight to a memory card?
Well all I can do is wait and see if this is true, which I sure hope it is.
